This project included the adaptive reuse of an Army warehouse, research and development lab at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

Dunning Group was tasked with accommodating a phased delivery for this occupied building, yet maintaining existing mission-critical operation as the facility under-went its transformation. The design includes more than 18,500 square feet of office, conference and demonstration space.

 

Renovations also included new locker rooms, restrooms and amenity spaces as well as the repair and renovation of the exterior building envelope.  Engineering services for this project included repair to damaged structural components, replacement of the HVAC system, new plumbing design and modifications to the existing electrical distribution.
